I bought Minecraft on my pc with my microsoft account and whenever I try to join any server it dosent let me. Is this a bug.

      Basically I bought Minecraft on my Microsoft account and whenever I try to go into an online server it says that my account is not online when I already bought the game. Is this because Microsoft accounts are not available with Minecraft or what. I really need someone to tell me what is going on here.
