In my realm, I've been trying to build a villager trading hall. I've had issues with villagers randomly disappearing from an underground base, so I isolated the issue and completely lit a new area. Now my villagers don't disappear, but some villagers simply won't link to a table to get a job. I'm trying to isolate lecturns so I can get librarians. The table is right next to the villager, as well as a bed, with an open path. The villagers appear to rather not have a job than be a librarian at this point, which is extremely frustrating. What can I do to fix this problem? I've isolated everything that I can think of.
