I noticed recently that the copper doors don't seem to work with villagers so well. They are capable of opening the doors but, sometimes instead of opening the doors to the house to get inside or to go to bed, they just stand outside where their bed would be during raids or nighttime. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not but if it isn't then I think the villager's AI struggles to see copper doors as a path.
