I'm using a bedrock server to play with my friends across multiple platforms. I have not port forwarded my modem as that is what ngrok is used for. ngrok creates a TCP tunnel that bypasses my firewall and allows other computers to connect to mine without needing my ip. While Ngrok does work on the java version of minecraft servers, it does not work for the Windows 10 version or bedrock version of servers. Whenever i attempt to connect to the server through lan and my computer's ip address, it works just fine. When attempting to connect over the internet though i get an "invalid ip address" message from minecraft. Ngrok uses an ip such as "0.tcp.ngrok.io.10692" and it is not recognized through the bedrock server application or possibly minecraft for windows 10 in general. I would like to host a minecraft server over the internet without directly port forwarding my modem and giving away my ip address. I'm not sure of another way to do this without paying for a realm.
