ever since 1.10 came out i can't get on any server no mater what version i am on

What I expected to happen was...:
me to play on the server

*What actually happened was...:
my whole minecraft crashes when i go play on a server

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to a server icon
2. click play
3. then sometimes lets me play a little then crashes
