A banner consists of two blocks. When the upper block with which the banner is attached to its surrounding is leaving the screen at an edge, the lower part of the banner also dissappears even it is still visible on the screen which surely should not be this way.

Most easily reproduced when placing a banner on a wall and then lowering the view slowly so the upper part is leaving the screen at the top edge.
