While playing Minecraft of ANY version, my game window experiences erratic mouse movement as my mouse, which is not remaining centered, approaches the edge of the screen. This makes the game unplayable, as my view will randomly shift to looking directly upwards and spinning very quickly.

I KNOW the issue is the mouse not being captured by the program. This is all I need fixed. Please help.
