I have experienced multiple crashes while placing torches. Each time, I was placing the torch to break a fluid source block. This has happened while breaking both water and lava source block. I think it has happened only when placing the torch above the player's head.

The error message is as follows:

Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot set property avz

to down on block minecraft:torch, it is not an allowed value
