This is LAG but of a EXTREMELY odd format which means it is physically impossible to get a screenie or a video of any understandable quality (screen lighting but blur and make all extremely bright) so this is a hard to report bug
Steps in bug:
Playing doing no intensive things on a server with any connection stength
Commands lag a small bit but its liveable
Everyone freezes paintings and beds do not place (but item frames work?) Plugins such as cinema pause on frame
Sometimes chunks 'DE-GENERATE' or 'PAR-DE-GENERATE'
Commands dont work even though all this time chat is perfect (even /kick or basic commands dont work)
Server wont show PLAYER left game text...And the playerlist will freeze so players arent shown as left or staying
F- Buttons stop working
If people have all left it may craft for 5 mins to 12 hours if not it may crash even on the best servers from 30 mins to (quite commonly) 2 sometimes even 3 days and this bug is serve
This is more common to 1.4.7 and more of 1.4 but i thought it might be good to say about this considering only recently i discovered this site
If anyone has maanged to be able to get a picture or video that would be GREAT but it laggs TAB changing and changing from window to window All statistics are true i have heard a rumour that 1 server was down to a week due to this but i can not confirm that.

You can move and access inventory and place blocks but you will not hear running or block place/destroy noise and the polygon to select block will no appear...all changes to location or blocks in lag time will be gone after crash...
