NO LONGER CAN DO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY BUT OK MINECRAFT.

I noticed this when I was in a singleplayer. If you are in a boat and then close the game, not exit to title but completely close the game. If you log back into the single player you will glitch out of your boat and sink into the water. This is just something I would like to mention, and it is not game breaking.
