Minecraft won't load on my PC

      This started happening yesterday at around 3:00 PM PST. My Minecraft crashed. Now whenever I open the launcher and press play, it says it's loading... but the application doesn't pop up in my hotbar and doesn't start the program. This is for all versions of Minecraft.
