I have searched for these issues, but saw that they were "resolved". These are not resolved, as I have had them in the last couple of days.
-Parrot dismounts when hitting objects from above. Duplicate by standing above a block and hitting it with a tool while having a parrot mounted. Parrot will fly off in the direction the player is hitting in, directly in aim of the tool the player is using (I've killed three parrots accidentally this way).
-Parrot teleporting. [Listed as resolved, still not though] Duplicate by having a parrot sit anywhere, (I had mine in an enclosed space) leave alone for several minutes, come back. Use /warp [location] and /home [home name] to exactly duplicate. Parrot should be flying several blocks away from where it was seated.
-Parrot dismounting while jumping down from multiple blocks. Duplicate by climbing up two to five blocks from a level and jump down.
Alright, so I redid everything in vanilla singleplayer. Luckily, the only issue was the one that is working as intended. However, this could be improved upon. Jumping down is essential to play MC, and it's annoying to have parrots fly off after jumping down just one block. It would be a lot nicer for players to have a hotkey to pick up parrots and put them down, instead of having them automatically get on and off, just as SHIFT is required to ride horses.
Also, I don't know how a modified server that only affects the player's position would make the parrots stop sitting and start teleporting. That should probably be looked into, despite not being vanilla, since it's on almost all survival servers.
