I have problem with loading snapshots after 18w11a. Every snapshot after that, when try to launch it says:

                        'Error: Could not create  the Java Virtual Machine.

                         Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.'

After that minecraft crashes , and when i try to start it again i get the same message. I even updated Java (from 7 to 8) but it still doesn't work.
