Creepers won't go under trapdoors to get away from cats

      I was making a creeper farm and realized  creepers were having troubles getting scared far away by cats. they only ran about 2 blocks when they should have ran 6 blocks away. Also when there is no ceiling they run from cats but never care to go over the edge even when the fall is one or two blocks.
