I reported a crash this morning and was told to update Java. I did, and the crash no longer happens, but now when my son loads Minecraft, the wasd keys don't work, and when he tries to click on anything, a bar appears at the bottom with a backslash. I have no idea what settings he has changed. We re-downloaded Minecraft to no avail.
