Been messing with this for awhile to no avail... I open launcher, login. Load 1.12.2, go to multiplayer, try to join any server, get hit with "Login failed. Invalid username or password." Ok... Restart as told, get the same. I wait it out(like 4 hrs), get the same. Said "Forget it, I'll watch a movie tonight try again tomorrow." Did just that... got the same. Tried girlfriends account on a different computer same network, still got the same. Reset the modem, got the same. Totally deleted Minecraft (even the %appdata% stuff) re-downloaded the installer and reinstalled, fixed nothing... anyone have an idea?
