I was in survival mode spawned some mending books put them on all my items and my armor and after killing a few things and collecting there XP my sword I had in my hand and non of my armor was repaired. Also when I applied mending to everything with an anvil I then switched to survival to fight some mobs and that's when I didn't work.I was in survival mode spawned some mending books put them on all my items and my armor and after killing a few things and collecting there XP my sword I had in my hand and non of my armor was repaired. Simply, after playing for a bit I killed multiple things in survival mode and I had mending on my sword which was in my hand I had nothing else in my off hand, and all my armor had mending on it, and after killing mobs and collecting there XP holding my sword it wasn't repaired at all and my armor had no repair to it either.
