I experience a micro stutter whilst placing and breaking any blocks that emit a light source. I have tried on previous versions and builds with my computer and haven't experienced any difficulty with them. When placing any other block I don't experience this micro stutter, so I would assume it maybe has something to do with the emission of ambient light being calculated as the block is being placed and broken. It's worse with campfires and lanterns.
Best of luck.
