I went afk overnight when i got back in game there was so many pillagers that the game was so laggy the particles for eating took about 5 seconds. the game was using all memory allocated there were around 10-12 sets of pillagers surrounding my base. restarting the game did not remove the mobs and the only way to get rid of them was to rush them naked and have them do damage to eachother while trying to kill me
