In my opinion, this is a serious issue of Minecraft in any edition.

The player skin of Steve is not bearded in game since Java Edition Classic.
Yet in every single artwork or advertisement for any Minecraft Edition Steve is bearded.

Dear Mojang, please unify Steve.

I suggest adding another alternative texture for the default player skin of Steve or basically replace the current Steve texture.
Alternatively, adjust the artworks of Minecraft and covers for the game in the future to the texture that is in game.
