Subtitles are very useless, as of now. You can't see if a sound is coming from up or down, while you could do with hearing as sounds far have a different pitch. also, on "footsteps", "block broken" and possibly "block placed" don't say which type of block is it, while you can clearly hear the difference between breaking some dirt and breaking some stone.

(I'm not deaf, and I don't have any hearing problems. I just care about people.)
