Heavy pressure plate doesn't work properly!

      Heavy Pressure plate bug!!!

      i thought that heavy pressure plates only activate if you stand on them, but it just does the same as a light pressure plate!!

      1. place a heavy pressure plate and redstone next to it.

      2. stand on it, nothing happens.

      3. place any item on it.

      4. it activates the redstone!

      please fix this!
