1. Look at a block and start mining it
2. Walk / look away from the block so you lose focus of it while still holding left click - the cracks disappear, working as intended so far
3. Without letting go of the mouse button, walk up to/look at it again so it is focused - cracks start to appear again, working well
4. Walk / look away again - the cracks stay, there's your issue

That there says it is purely visual. It says nothing about breaking the block. The one I reported is talking about breaking the block.

The crop block should never have focus on the one I reported. The other one you are focused on the block at one point. 

And the issue is only on crop blocks while trying to harvest. This doesn't work on any other block. The way to reproduce this issue are completely different as well. So what is actually the same except one has a visual of the block breaking? That's it.

MC-69865 is not just a visual glitch. You can also lose focus while focusing another block, in this case, it's the crop that you plant.

I really don't mean and disrespect. I don't know where the miscommunication is. Is there a language barrier? Are you not understanding what I am saying? Have you not read or tried to replicate either issue? One is changing focus and one is the block should never be focused. One is every block, the other is only dirt block. One is while mining and the other is while harvesting. One is a visual glitch, the other breaks a block that shouldn't be breaking.

but it doesn't matter if the farm land was ever focused or not. I am not actually hitting the farm land as in the other scenario. I am actually hitting the plant the entire time. There  is no lose of focus because it isn't actually being hit. 

You're focusing the plant after you planted it, and then no longer focus the farm land.

MC-69865 is already covering your issue. It's a general ticket about a block being destroyed when you're losing focus of it.

One is talking about any block still only showing block damage and not breaking the block.

This one is about it breaking the any plowed block if you have the plowed block behind the crop you are trying to harvest (wheat, carrots, etc) and actually breaking only plowed blocks but not another other type of block other than plowed dirt meaning it doesn't work if behind the crop you are focusing on is stone, dispenser, andesite, etc. It is as if you are straight punching the dirt block and there is no crops you are harvesting there but it doesn't do it to any other block I tested.
