When either typing a long message or going through history with a long message in it, the chat box will try to show the end of the message by hiding the start of it, which is fine, until you delete characters from that message or go to a different point in history, it retrains the offset and keeps hiding the start of the message. This might be intended when writing a long message, but I don't think it's intended when going through history.
