i was flying around in the rain and noticed 2 chunks side by side with black rain above Y=95. unsure if this had something to do with the structure above in a different chunk, but i tried it twice at different times of the minecraft day, so i don't think it has anything to do with the shadow.. even if it had something to do with the shadow it still shouldn't be black.
