When creating a new world, you have the option to name it immediately (before you have even seen what it looks like) or rename it later. I tend to name my worlds after I have explored them a little and given them some memorable definition (otherwise what is the point of naming them?). On the launcher, it lists all worlds as renamed, but in the saved games folder only games named at creation are filed this way - renamed worlds are listed as New World which means a list of several folders, New World, New World-, New World-- etc. currently going up to New World----- This means that, when making backups, I have to cross-check with the launcher to see which 'New World' file matches which saved world - crazy! See how 'Gail's NuEarth' in the launcher corresponds to New World----- in the saved games folder, in my attached snapshots. There is no folder named 'Gail's NuEarth' in the saved games file. (Record number of edits due to formatting glitches!)
