I made a villager trading hall and killed the zombie with a husk, it did not turn into a zombie villager. I tested this in another world and the same happened every time. The difficulty was on easy mode but I turned on LAN and allowed cheats to change it to an easy world, however, this did not change anything. I tested this on a brand new world on easy mode and no change, all died without turning.
