Chunks disappear (invisible) until you place a block near the edge

    • Windows 7 4gb ram. Sort of laggy but it runs smoothly most of the time.
      Java version = 'Version 8 update 101'

      I turned down my smooth lighting level and my whole world turned invisible so I could only see entities (no particles, paintings or armor stands) such as fish, and squid. I reloaded chunks (f3+a) and I removed my resource pack (vanilla tweaks) and this changed nothing. I made it so I could see chunk boundaries and placed a log the border. I could see within that chunk as it appeared but I had to do that around me. I changed my settings to

          Thank you for your report!
          However, this issue is Invalid.

          Your game, launcher or server is modified.
          If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please create a new ticket.

          • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
          • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
          • If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
