I upgraded to the latest snapshot today from last weeks snapshot.  On startup I found that all but three villagers in the village I had logged out in were now gone.   The three that remained were recently traded with in the last snapshot.

Was it significant that I was in the village when I disconnect last before applying the snapshot?

This is a multiplayer (server) game.
