I just downloaded Minecraft Java. When trying to open the launcher it came to a gray/black screen and will not move forward. I looked at all the articles but nothing seems to help. I will include screen shots of the issue, and screen shots of my system so you can see my mac os. I have a mac OSX 10.14.6 If I can't get this working I would like a refund.
