I was experimenting in a survival server with breeding animals and managed to breed two chickens but realized that the love mode hearts did not ever show above them. I tried this with other animals and I got the same results. I have not attatched an image as it is self-explanatory. The hearts do not show up in love mode even if they are producing a baby.
