This is not exactly a bug but more accurately a minor issue. Note that I have the Demo version of the game. When the Demo World is reset the folder .minecraft\saves\Demo_World does not get deleted. I'm assuming that deleted Minecraft worlds in the full version of the game leave empty folders in .minecraft\saves directory as well.
