I am messing with the end crystals to create an explosion that will fling the player in the air but for some reason it doesn't have knockback and will not damage the blocks surrounding them.

How to reproduce:
place an end crystal on obsidian/bedrock
left click to explode it
(/)works as intended
give yourself a command block: /give @p command block
use the command block and type: /summon end_crystal
set the command block to: always active, repeat
left click to explode it
(x)The end crystals does not do damage to the surrounding blocks, no knockback
