In all 1.16 snapshots so far, the spawn chunks (the 12x12 chunk area from where you spawn) have not been staying loaded. I've been playing on my main world using snapshots and the spawn chunks stopped staying loaded, they were working on previous versions. I tested this on multiple worlds on two separate devices with the same result.
