i was in lava, had a totem of undying, and the lava damage overrided the totem. Sorry if this is intentional and im wasting your time. 

how to reproduce: aquire a totem of undying, jump in to lava or rapidly or condsistantly take damage, the damage will override the totem of undying and cause you to die.
