When you place a red stonedust you get a cross. If you then switch the form from cross to dot, and update the dot by placing a lever or something else like a redstone block so that the dot changes to a line. If you then remove what makes redstone dust to a line it will return to being crossed.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected the red stone dot to remember what shape it was in before it became a line. So that when the redstone line changes back it becomes a redstone dot again.

      What actually happened was...:
After changing the cross to a dot and then making the dot to a line, and then doing so that it changes back it becomes a cross again.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Place a redstone dust on the ground and change it to a dot.

      2. Then make the dot switch to line by a lever or some thing else. (The redstone does not need to be powered).

      3. Remove the ting that makes the redstone to a line and you will end up with a cross.
