I was working on moving an unemployed villager through nether to my base, and I placed a workstation behind the nether portal on the nether side leading back to my base. At first I had some issues where it was determined to get outside the walled area in nether, but after quitting and loading the game, the villager then went over to grab that workstation, which made it go to overworld, and this caused the game to start lagging massively every second and the villager was outside the portal on the side blocked off where it shouldn't have been able to get to unless something went wrong. I had my suspicions because the villager was walking of somewhere far away, and after using /data command, it's work station is said to be several hundred blocks away in the overworld in the direction it was walking, even if it clearly stated it was in the nether.

What I expected to happen was...:
That the villager would be tricked into walking through the portal without any problem or lag.

      What actually happened was...:
The villager was tricked into walking through the portal, but it was on the blocked off side of the portal and it also causes massive lag issues.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Get unemplyed villager into Nether.
      2. Place a workstation behind a Nether portal where it is forced through portal to reach it, and instantly save and quit.
      3. load game again and follow the villager to overworld.
