In my hardcore single player world near spawn is a village by an ocean north of the village, in the spawn chunks where entities are able to move. Even though the chunks are not actively loaded by the player, when I do load them, about 10 villagers appear in the ocean stationary floating, as well as about 10 iron golems also appear in the same ocean sunk to the bottom. I understand that there is a bug where by iron golems spawn to much and so there are an abundant amount of iron golems in the village, i do not know if the bugs are connected. The ocean extends to the west of the village but the villagers and iron golems only appear directly north away from the spawn chunks. It is very frustrating and i have to boat each villager back to land every time.
