Before I say anything I do use a preview version of the mod Optifine, although I doubt that it changes anything I am about to say.

To quickly say things I have a problem where iron golems will not stop spawning

A few weeks ago I started up a new world and got to work, eventually I got to the point of making a villager breeder and farm.

Creating such a structure with so many villagers creates a new village when there are enough villagers and beds.

This makes iron golems spawn as the game considers the area a village and iron golems spawn in villages with enough villagers.

I started my villager breeder with only 3 villagers, after that an iron golem spawned within a few minutes.

So then I started noticing bigger changes after another golem spawned within another Minecraft day.

Within a few more days (Minecraft days are 10 minutes?) more golems spawned. I had not bred that many more villagers and things were starting to get out of hand.

I decided to breed a few more villagers.

Pretty soon there were about 7 golems that had spawned with only 5 villagers in my containment facility.

I have currently maintained a villager ratio of 1villager: 1profession. That is to say i have a single villager for every profession in the game currently. (The villagers multiply on their own, I have provided them with a farm on the inside of my building and about 13 or so beds).

There are now over 20 or so golems within the area and they will not stop spawning I'll provide pictures.

There will be a picture from 5 in real life days ago and a picture from the present day.

I think about 10 hours of gameplay in between.
