Unicode characters not rendering properly after 1.16-pre6

      Ever since 1.16-pre7 all Unicode characters are not displaying properly and are rendered with the built-in Minecraft font

      I have attached 2 images. The first one is from 1.16-pre6 (without the issue), the second is from 1.16-pre7 (with the issue). The issue persists up until 1.16.2-pre1
