I have spent hours trying to resolve this.  This is the result so far.  I have figured out that Minecraft Java Edition crashes to a complete reboot when my settings are set to full screen in Minecraft Java.

When I start the program and full screen is enabled, the red Mojang loading screen progress bar gets to maximum and crashes to reboot rather than switching into the game.  When I changed the options file to start in window mode, it works. Changing back to full screen in game options allows for play, but on next startup, it crashes to reboot each time without fail.

Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit
EVGA Nvidia GTX1080ti
i7 at 3.2
All drivers are up to date.
16 gb of DDR4 ram
Corsair RM850x

This makes it difficult to play, as I have to go into windowed mode every time I want to play, and I prefer full screen.  I am submitting as a bug as I have done complete benchmark tests and tested each component.  I believe it is a bug.
