I was playing Minecraft very smoothly, and then I entered a drowned village. As soon as the drowneds spawned, I dropped to 1 fps. I closed the world and after about 3 minutes, I got the "out of memory" screen.

Maybe check for a memory leak in the drowned home generation code?
