cannot get into the minecraft java app - takes me directly to windows app

      cannot purchase java edition from the website because purchase page freezes when I select "Purchase for $24..." 

       

      tried to purchase a code, and now stuck on download for windows 

       

      is this the correct download for java? and why isnt it working?
