The Farmer villagers don't harvest or plant and they cant pick up items either. I've tried Wheat, Wheat Seeds, Beetroot, Beetroot Seeds, Carrots, Potatoes and Bread. The villagers see the items but don't pick them up. Which means no baby villagers.
