The title says it all. Upon entering any command into an impulse command block, the block behaves as if it were a repeating command block and runs any given command in a loop. A direction in which a player is facing also seems to affect the command block when being activated with a redstone block. Destroying and then placing the command block somewhere else doesn't fix the issue.
