I would like to report a bug regarding the login system for the java addition of minecraft. In reference to the automatic lockout system. There is a flaw then when a vpn is applied, this system often triggers and forces a password reset and eventually an outright account lock out.
Despite the fact said connection has the same ip in all cases, on a network of which I have control over. I had this account since 2011 and have never faced such issues in the past. I have also faced this issue more than once.
I would ask if the block could be removed from my account, or if a means can be made available to disable these functions. As I very much prefer having a vpn than no vpn and the system in place is honestly more of an inconvenience than it is protective of an account. That only I have access to regardless. This is a solution in search of a problem, implemented extremely poorly and without genuine consideration. That has had the effect of creating work for both myself and your staff, where there is no compelling reason for such an issue to exist in the first place.
I would also like to assert this is a systematic problem rather than a support request as its origins. Are the end result of the account system and its associated functions.
