Today, a new launcher update came out and everything was fine. I use optifine most of the time, for the zoom feature and I have never had a problem with launching Minecraft with optifine. but today, i went to reload the launcher because it told me that i had to, and optifine was not a launch profile option. so i went to re-install optifine and it said it was installed but it would not show up as a profile. I knew this had to do with the new launcher because i had never had a problem with it, and a bunch of people on the r/optifine reddit page seem to have the same problem.
