I have set up a new PC and went to download minecraft to it. Both the .exe and .msi files work for the download and initial set up, however once I navigate to "Play" the download freezes around the 245mb mark and then a few moments later I get the error screen below.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft as well as deleting the .minecraft folder. I have turned off my internet security and firewall totally to still no avail.
Please would someone be able to advise if this is a bug or something local?
