When I launch the game the main screen and while playing the game audio doesn't work

What I expected to happen was...:
The game should be displaying audio

What actually happened was...:
The game never displays audio no matter what

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I wasn't able to launch the game correctly
2. Tried resetting the game settings from the launcher
3. Steps in game settings from launcher. ( opened settings>changed game release type (1.16.5>1.14.5>1.16.5>1.14.0>1.16.5>1.13.5>1.16.5>1.13.0>1.16.5>1.12.5>1.16.5>1.12.4>1.16.5, This is when I finally got the game to work (I decided to start going down by one each time just to see if that worked better)
4. finally got the game to load but no longer displays sound
