      This issue was fixed in 1.17, but only when playing in singleplayer, when you're on a server this issue still persists

      To reproduce

      1. Join a server
      2. /give @p player_head{SkullOwner:"hellotestnfhfjsidi"}
      3. Place the head
        There will be a lag spike every time you place the head

          A similar issue occurs in singleplayer as well. I created a new world, traveled to a far location, executed the command and spam placed the head down. It does not stutter or cause frame drops, but when monitoring the lag with Alt+F3, the graph completely stops for a couple seconds. This does not happen when the head has an existent owner. This might be a completely different issue though.

          You can also place alot of player heads like that to prevent someone from joining

          It has to be a head with the skull owner of a non-existing player; /give @p player_head{SkullOwner:"hellotestnfhfjsidi"}

          I don’t get any lag from it, can you send a screenshot with the debug screen open?
